American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS)
The American Institute of Architecture Students is the official voice of students studying the profession of architecture and design. In addition to providing work and learning opportunity, we work with the college to better suit the student culture.

Construction Student Association (CSA)
The CSA strives to make leadership, scholarship and citizenship a regular part of our members’ lives through industry networking, community service and classwork.
Members of the CSA are encouraged to give back to the local community by volunteering their time with organizations like: Habitat for Humanity, Adopt-A-Street, and the Cleveland County Christmas Store. Students also contribute to the club by volunteering at events like the Skeet Shoot, the Career Fair and the Golf Tournament.
The CSA welcomes not only Construction Science majors but minors, Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Regional & City Planning and graduate students.

Interior Design Student Association (IDSA)
The mission of the is to promote excellence in interior design education, and professional practice, as well as foster an appreciation of design and its related disciplines. The organization works to enrich the Norman community in a spirit of collaboration, and bring interior design students together to advance the art of design. The OU Interior Design Student Association incorporates student chapters for the interior design professional organizations of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (SCASLA)
The Student Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects is a subset of the national organization, American Society of Landscape Architects. The purposes are as follows: (a) To promote professional and intellectual stimulation among the students by services as a vehicle for exploration of ideas outside the formal classroom contents; (b) To facilitate the exchange of information between the faculty, staff and students in the department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oklahoma (c) To promote good fellowship through sponsorship of social activities; (d) To assist new landscape architecture students and visiting educators through such activities as determined by the executive committee or as the membership may direct.

Student Planning Association (SPA)
The purpose of the Student Planning Association is to provide a forum for applied learning and the development of professional planning practice.
Each semester, SPA holds several meetings to exchange ideas and fun events to promote the planning program at the University of Oklahoma. Often SPA participates in volunteer events such as the City of Norman’s tree giveaway and the Big Event.

The USGBC is dedicated to educating, activating, and engaging students and connecting them to their community. The world is larger than our campus and our impact should be as well. The USGBC believes that being a good steward of our environment begins locally.

The purpose of Students for New Urbanism (SNU) at the University of Oklahoma is to foster a multidisciplinary community of students passionate about advocating for and contributing to sustainable, equitable, and livable urban environments. Our organization aims to educate, engage, and empower students from various academic backgrounds in the principles and practices of New Urbanism, including mixed-use development, walkability, environmental sustainability, and community-oriented public spaces.

is available to students looking for a job who need help writing a cover letter, creating a resume, or practicing for interviews.
Compass Network
The is an initiative aimed at helping undergraduate students overcome personal challenges to their success at OU. Students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of our staff to create an action plan to address issues or roadblocks. Gibbs Design Activism Awards

Our program allows students living in university housing to receive mentorship from current OU faculty. In this program, faculty members and their families live in apartments in the residence halls and plan events for the residents. OU is one of only a few universities in the nation to have this program!

Office of Advocacy & Education
The Office of Advocacy & Education is dedicated to cultivating a safe and affirming environment for all students. Our services include OU Advocates, the OU Food Pantry, gender-based violence awareness and prevention training, and overall wellness education. Math Center
OU’s provides math assistance with tutors who are certified to tutor certain subjects from college algebra to upper division classes.
OU Food Pantry
The aims to solve food insecurity for OU students, faculty, and staff. Located right next to the Residence Halls, it is easily accessible and open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 – 6:30 p.m.
OU Writing Center
Available to assist all students with any writing, whether it is a class essay, an application, or just for fun. With multiple locations and the availability to make appointments, help is always available at the .
Project Threshold (Trio)
A resource that is extremely helpful for first-generation students, includes academic advisement, financial aid information, enrollment assistance, computer lab acess, tutoring, and free printing.
Sooners Helping Sooner
One Sooner Family. One Big Way to Help. is a student led initiative to raise money for an OU Emergency Allocation Account. This fund was created to help students who find themselves in extenuating circumstances and in need of emergency financial assistance. Examples of such circumstances can include apartment fires, the death of a family member, and emergency medical care, among others. The goal of SHS is to come together and show compassion and support so that every Sooner has an opportunity to succeed at OU.
